Interdisciplinary Art Gives Punk a New Edge

I’m a multifaceted artist and musician currently living in Chicago. Currently I am studying graphic design at Columbia with a minor in fashion sustainability. I like to work between a variety of mediums from jewelry making/ metal smithing, to sewing, photography, poetry, and flyer design. I like to incorporate unusual elements in my designs and blend different mediums together. I draw a lot of inspiration from the punk/diy scene that so often uses methods of creating without boundaries. I’ve recently joined a band called Friendly Faces and was formally in a band called Domino. I’m hoping to play some shows this summer and to sell my jewelry and zines at pop ups too. I like to keep myself busy, I am constantly looking to try new mediums to be inspired by as I have a strong urge to constantly be creating and learning new methods/crafts.
